Announcing new improved interfaces to the Aircraft Booking System.

 

Away from your computer but want to check on the availability of your aircraft?

Now all you need is your mobile phone to check up on bookings and you have a choice of 3 methods of checking on your aircraft availability.

 

Via SMS Text

 

Send the following format (SMS) text to this number 01138 59 06 90

 

txtback g-regi 2010-04-28 +

 

where:

txtback is a required keyword to tell the system what service you require (i.e. text back)

g-regi is the aircraft registration managed by ABS that you want to check the bookings for.

2010-04-28 is the date that you want to check availability for in the format yyyy-mm-dd. Note - this can also be the words "today" or "tomorrow" to give bookings for those dates. If the date field is left off the message then it will default to today.

+ is optional and this will give as many future date bookings up to the 160 character limit imposed by a text message.

 

Some examples:

 

txtback g-regi

will text back booking information for G-REGI for today.

 

txtback g-regi today

will text back booking information for G-REGI for today.

 

txtback g-regi tomorrow

will text back booking information for G-REGI for tomorrow.

 

txtback g-regi 2010-06-30

will text back booking information for G-REGI for 30th June 2010.

 

txtback g-regi 2010-07-20 +

will text back booking information for G-REGI for 20th July 2010 and any other bookings past that date up to the 160 character limit imposed by a standard text message.

 

Charges - You will be charged your standard text messaging rate for your outgoing text message and you will need to have purchased text back tokens via our ABS system to enable the system to text you back messages. 50 text back tokens cost 10 GBP (pounds sterling) and can be purchased online via the Text back Token top up link.

 

 

Via an Email

 

Send an email to egateway@aircraftbooking.co.uk and put the aircraft registration in the subject line (nothing else). All bookings stored on the system from the current date onwards will be emailed back to the requesting email address.

 

Charges - There are no charges for this service.

 

 

Via a Voice Call (call back)

 

Send the following format (SMS) text to this number 01138 59 06 90

 

voiceback g-regi 2010-04-28 +

 

where:

voiceback is a required keyword to tell the system what service you require (i.e. voice callback)

g-regi is the aircraft registration managed by ABS that you want to check the bookings for.

2010-04-28 is the date that you want to check availability for in the format yyyy-mm-dd. Note - this can also be the words "today" or "tomorrow" to give bookings for those dates. If the date field is left off the message then it will default to today.

+ is optional and this will give as many future date bookings up to the 300 character limit imposed by the voice message system.

voiceback g-regi tomorrow

will call you back with booking information for G-REGI for tomorrow.

will call you back with booking information for G-REGI for 30th June 2010.

 

voiceback g-regi 2010-07-20 +

will call you back with booking information for G-REGI for 20th July 2010 and any other bookings past that date up to the 300 character limit imposed by the voice message system.

Notes:

1)       To use text back or call back, you must have stored your mobile phone number correctly under member details.

2)       Mobile phone number must be stored in either 07????????? (standard format with no spaces) or 447????????? (country code with no leading 0 and no spaces). Any spurious non numeric characters stored will result in the system not being able to send messages to your mobile phone.

3)       Text back and call back services are currently only available to +44 UK registered mobile phones but this will be reviewed and expanded soon.
